About the author

Lesley Marcovich

As an Irish descendant (maiden name Byrne), born and raised in Africa, and now living in Canada, I have gained a broad perspective from a large number of life-changing events which I have personally witnessed and experienced i.e. unnatural deaths including suicides, developmental disabilities, immigration, plus a wide variety of celebratory events.

Starting from childhood, as I continue to journey on my road through life, I avoid all fuel tanks labelled ‘Assumption’ ‘Criticism’ and ‘Digression’ and instead I reach out for the bright golden pump labelled ‘Premium Love’.

With this fuel I am able to clearly spot the hero in every single one of us, which calls for a worldwide celebration in the form of the true testament of who we all are, as depicted in the book SIGH.

My Writer’s Journey

Since the nineties I have been drawing out the true essence of who we all are through my work: 

Bereavement Counsellor • Life Coach • Writing Coach

As a conductor of reminiscing groups in retirement homes, a bereavement counsellor and group facilitator for a hospice, and a life coach and writing coach in general.

Writing Contributor • Author

As a writing contributor to St Michael’s hospital study book, ‘What It Takes to Make it Through’,  and to various versions of Chicken Soup for the Soul.

Ghost Writer • Speech Writer

As a ghostwriter of life stories, family histories, business books, speeches, and more, I have helped others step onto the center-stage of authorship. And then recently, when I began writing SIGH, becoming a conduit as words poured through me onto the pages from All of Us, I had to ‘float down from the attic’ and claim authorship in order to spread everyone’s words, so that, through the distribution of SIGH, we can all recruit global love ambassadors to help us pump powerful, pure love into every sphere.
